Shot at the Warkworth Satellite Radio Station one winter night. I actually ended up shooting this using my phone and an app that allowed me to shoot long exposures.

The colours you see of the star trails can easily be achieved if you remember to take the sequence of shots a bit underexposed. I then towards the end of the 3 hour long duration of shots lit up the satellite station very briefly (couple of seconds) with a very bright torch.

The final resulting image was then processed in Lightroom and then a Denoise software was used to remove all excess noise from the presented image.
